Berghaus Sauna Co. ("Berghaus," "we," "us") operates this website and a mobile sauna/cold plunge studio. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect
Information you give us
Contact form. When you send us a note through the website we collect your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message.
Booking and memberships. Sessions, memberships and packages are booked through our scheduling provider, Punchpass. Punchpass collects your name, email, phone number and payment details so you can book and pay. We receive booking information such as your name, email and which sessions you booked.
Waiver. Users are required to sign a waiver to use the sauna and cold plunge. The waiver is managed through Punchpass, which also handles booking. For further information, see Punchpass privacy policy.
Email. If you email us directly, we keep your message and our reply.
Information collected automatically
Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, device type, approximate location and how you arrived. It uses cookies or similar technologies.
Server and security logs. Our hosting and security providers record technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and protect it from abuse.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our sessions are for adults 18 and over.

How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed:
Punchpass for booking, memberships, payments and signed waivers
Our website host and security provider (Laravel Forge hosting and Cloudflare)
Email provider used to deliver contact form notifications and booking messages [name once chosen]
Analytics provider
Instagram content may be embedded or linked on the site, and Instagram has its own privacy practices
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Berghaus, our guests or others.
Cookies
The website uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, such as security and form-protection cookies. We also use analytics cookies, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
Payments
Payments are processed by Punchpass and its payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number.
How long we keep information
We keep contact form messages and booking records for as long as needed to run our business and meet legal and accounting obligations. Signed waiver retention policy is dictated by Punchpass. Please refer to their policies and procedures for further information. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see "Your choices").
Your choices
You can contact us at hello@berghaussaunaco.com to ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of marketing messages. We will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to keep some records, such as signed waivers, where the law or our legitimate business needs require it.

Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This site links to other websites, including Instagram and Google Maps. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed.
